If you are still stuck with crappy Mozilla 1.1 or if that instable-as-hell-release even makes you consider downgrading to solid-as-rock release 1.0 again: upgrade to 1.2 alpha. Though alpha, it runs as stable as known from 1.0 final, no matter if you work with just one or with dozens of tabs opened.

As 1.2 alpha didn't crash once so far, it gives me back some of the confidence into Mozilla I had lost when 1.1 ate the content of my password manager and the entire mail configuration (which, by the way, I still was not able to recover fully).
