Display KML files in Google Maps

You can now display simple KML files right in Google Maps. Just enter the files' URL in the Google Maps search box. My sample is showing some placemarks in the south of Duisburg, Germany. I find this very useful. Having to launch Google Earth to quickly check simple placemark files used to annoy me, and it simplifies creating annotated Google Maps, too.
