For 8.7 billion Euros, Corus now is Tata
India's small Tata Steel has won the auction process for the much larger British-Dutch steelmaker Corus which had asked to be taken over in order to become a global company. With an offer worth nearly 9 billion Euros, Tata outbid rival bidder Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional from Brazil.
