Movable Type 2.2 is out

There are two large new features with this release: (1) TrackBack, a peer-to-peer framework for communication between weblogs, which can track cross-weblog conversations and discussions, provides remote content repositories, has password protection, IP banning, automatic RSS output, and email notification. (2) The system can now use a MySQL database for backend data storage, as an alternative to the Berkeley DB storage.
