While giving lots of attention to the current demolition of local steel works Hoesch Hermannshütte and Hoesch Westfalenhütte, I was not aware that the simultaneous teardown of blast furnace works Hoesch Phoenix West advances so quickly. Yesterday evening, I found Gate 1 to Phoenix West opened, so I could walk straight in to take some additional photos. This has been a refreshing diversion from the standard practice of self authorizing for entry.

Perhaps some of the photos look too bright, too dark, too crisp, too flat or elsewise imperfect on your screen. This is because my notebook is broken and color settings of my trusted Eizo FlexScan need some readjustments. A substitute screen will arrive later today. Still, I wanted to publish this new set of photos as soon as possible, as it is dedicated to Lyssa who indirectly supported its making.
