Formation flight, 10 years of supersonic commercial aviation
16:01, 16:03, 16:05 British Summer Time: watching the last three Concordes touching down in formation and then taxying even the remotest part of Heathrow airport as a spectacular finale to an era was both a moving and sad event. By all what can be said today, it marks both the end of commercial supersonic aviation and of the most special thing ever made in civil aviation. Very unimpressive the performance of Rod Eddington, CEO of British Airways: While commenting the event live on BBC World, he even didn't miss this special moment to mention that it's the shareholder, stupid.
