Since Friday, my Movable Type throws error 500 messages all over the place. As I didn't change the installation, I assume it has to do with settings at my web hoster 1und1. If you submit a comment, you will run into error 500 after some seconds. Please submit only once: your comment text gets saved in the database, it just requires a manual rebuild to have it shown in the individual archive entries.
I've added my phone numbers (and a shot of an industrial phone found in a 1992 coke plant) to the contact page. Be prepared to talk to my mailbox if you don't activate your caller ID :-) If you sent me mails, instant messages or blog comments during the last weeks, hang on: my answers are on their way.
Site improvements will be added step by step as time permits. High on my list: fixing comments (reducing comment spam, finally fixing the comment form for correct rendering in IE and finally introducing trackback, adding comment permalinks, adding threaded comments?), introducing search (MT Search, PHPDig?), a cleaner Quick Links section (del.icio.us, MTPurple plugin, hicksdesign style, XFN friendly?), cleaner and more structured archives (with categories?), title image variety, and a cleaner markup. I also think about separating the photo stuff from this blog which then would move more into the Mozilla direction, but I am undecided about this: never change a running system :-)
