Testing Skype

<< Previous Entry | Next Entry>>

First attempts to run Skype on my Toughbook has been quite successful. Thanks go out to Rainer Wasserfuhr for playing the guinea pig. As long as the Toughbook does not access the hard disk Skype works well, and I expect it to be fully usable once I will have connected a headset and added some memory to the tiny machine. If you want to call me, try haikohebig (a most imaginative handle that also has been added to my contact page).

And in unrelated I-really-need-a-public-wiki news: Rainer and I think there should be a news aggregator migration tool that does not just transfer the subscription list (OPML already does that), but also message archives and, most important, message flags. Aggregator developers, just come up with a build in solution :-)
