I've finally had the opportunity to test the SonyEricsson P900 mobile phone. Being in the favourable position of using a SIM card bound to a contract with 100% rebate on all services used, I focused on web browsing, mobile blogging and checking photos. While I wouldn't want the P900 as my day phone or PIM, its display is plain exciting and viewing photos and videos on it a dream. Colors and grey shades are so crisp and clear that one could even use this display to evaluate black and white photography. You won't this in a standard phone. Also, Opera's Small Screen Rendering works like charme and switching between normal and small screen view is quite fast even on larger pages like Bloglines with 100 unread items. Now please for future devices, more resolution: the same (or better) display type, same dpi value, larger surface. And Siemens, that's the kind of display you should put into the upcoming S65 phone.
