Endangered Machinery: Textures

Textures. Phoenix blast furnaces plant, Hoesch Stahl AG, Dortmund, Germany

In the past I've kept asking myself "What's wrong with those guys?" when seeing photos of textures or tiny details captured in plants of heavy industry where the most magnificient machinery is right at you hand - sticking to textures and details, what a waste of time and effort. Now I think such shots can be quite interesting - once you are through with the machinery. Could translate into "Find yourself doing textures, find yourself new targets". In this blast furnaces plant alone, it took me two years to get there.
