Apple Boot Camp is a boot loader, setup assistant and set of drivers that lets you run Windows XP natively on Intel-Macs. Free beta now, part of the operating system from upcoming OS X Leopard on.
Not a belated April Fool's joke, but an interesting move that should tear down a major hurdle for those fellows that want a Mac but also need a Windows box for these one or two important applications that are Win only. The "XP prepared"-label might also help company workers to persuade their buying agents to finally order an Apple notebook or two ;-)

John Gruber of Daring Fireball has a good posting on Boot Camp: Windows: The New Classic →
Certainly. Boot Camp might not be perfect from a usability point of view, but I think it is very good marketingwise and likely to induce a nice sales boost.

Still waiting for the virtual sandbox inside OS X to run Windows in. Rebooting is annoying.
