I am selecting a new cell phone at the moment, and likely the Nokia E61 (Mobileburn review) will be my choice. Big battery, BlackBerry form factor with a big landscape format screen and QWERTZ keyboard, flat body, clean design, Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system, WLAN connectivity, pushmail support, well done web browser, decicated voicememo button, no camera - just what I want. Unfortunately, my provider O2 does not offer it at the moment, so I called to check if they will do so in the future. No, they won't. Likely because of the XDA cosmo to come - which has an ugly face, an ugly interface, a tiny battery and a Windows Mobile operating system (ok, it's using one USB mini connector for anything and isn't exactly unflat either, but that seems to be about it). Getting the E61 from another source or switching to a provider that has it (Hello, E-Plus) will help. If all else fails, there still is this alternative ;-) (Link fixed)
