Good weather

One of the things that differentiates outdoor photographers from other people is the conception of "good weather". A clear blue sky with bright sunlight is about as far away from "good weather" as it can get. It can be an interesting diversion, just like snow, rain, graupel, haze, fog or unusual cloud formations can be interesting diversions, too. Overcast sky is best, though. Bright, but overcast. It even lets you shoot into any direction at all times without serving backlight. While typing this, I am waiting for better light, the fourth day in a row. When trying to photograph, you need high frustration tolerance, too.
