Having grown unsatisfied with my Logitech wireless keyboard, I today switched to a keyboard that felt just right from the first touch. In fact, it is the best keyboard I ever had: faster typing with less errors from the very beginning, good tactile feedback, good sound, good manufacturing quality, and little finger weariness even after a lot of typing. Good design and two USB ports are nice extras. It's called the Apple wired keyboard.
You can plug it into your Windows XP machine and it will work almost without problems straight away. If you don't need rarely used keys like the Print key or extras the media player controls, there is no need to build a custom keyboard mapping. It seems to be drawing quite a lot of power, though: there sometimes are "USB hub consuming too much power" errors which I saw with no other USB device so far.
(The design is even better than on the photo: the Return key spans across two rows of keys instead of just one.)

Yep, i hate apple, but love their keyboards, I'll be honest :D
The buttons just click so much nicer, and it's almost silent :D
Cheers.

Point well taken!
I, too, think, this Apple keyboard is by far the best one I've ever had (maybe right after my first Mac-Plus Keyboard dating from 1984). Especially after the raw keyboards of the latest years.
IMHO, it has indeed one flaw though: Addiction. You get so spoiled by it by time, everything else seems outdated, even the keys of my 17' MacBook Pro.
One more thing, a little off-topic: I've never been a mouse pundit and I always loathed 3rd party hardware for the Mac. But since I got this
Logitech Revolution MX Mouse, I really never looked back. Incredibly smooth (could have come from Apple, if its many buttons had been somehow concealed).
