About the Gallery System

What it is:

• A lightweight system that displays groups and series of pictures and their descriptions - no frills

What it is not:

• A feature bomb like PHP Gallery which is great to handle large image archives (like that on my local server)
• RSS/RDF magic like the Hackdiary Semantic Web Shoebox - though this is a fascinating approach

Features:

• Handling of multiple groups that each can contain multiple series, a title image or title text, individual image descriptions and additional textboxes
• No database required: all descriptions held in a single configuration file. Adding galleries, groups or series just requires changes to this single file
• XHTML 1.0 Transitional markup, full CSS layout
• Support for the Mozilla Site Navigation Toolbar (relative links)
